Grayton Beach was the first community established in South Walton, some time in the late 19th century. Today’s Grayton Beach is a historic district, with many of the old cottages lovingly restored. Around here, you’ll find a strange and wonderful eclectic community, including Grayton Beach State Park, which spans the Gulf of Mexico and most of Western Lake, a coastal dune lake. The area restaurants and shops showcase Grayton’s wonderful blend of fun and funky!
